Bullet Journals #SOL16

Have you heard of bullet journaling? My daughter introduced me to the idea. We scoured bullet journaling on Pinterest. We watched some videos on bullet journal - how to do it, what to include. Then, we ordered some Leuchtturm 1917 dot journals and pretty colorful pens on Amazon. And we waited. Today they arrived. Yay!

We looked at our new journals. Where to begin? It was a little overwhelming. Neither one of us wanted to write something in our brand new journal and mess it up. We went back to the bullet journal images on Pinterest, watched a couple more videos and then we finally took the plunge. We created some daily pages, a To Do List, an exercise page, and a goal page.

We're excited about this new bullet journal journey. Do you bullet journal?

  4. I am really intrigued y the idea of bullet journaling & want to check it out. Earlier in March, Leigh Anne Eck wrote a slice about her journey to bullet journals here: http://adayinthelifeof19b.blogspot.com/2016/03/my-journey-to-bullet-journaling.html

I first learned about them from Kate Messner's blog here:

Happy journaling! I'll see you along the way...

  6. I feel like your post is the second to reference bullet journaling that I have read. I'm almost afraid to look further since both posts included a sense of trepidation! Good luck!

  7. Yes! I started mine in January. I LOVE it. It really works for my way of thinking and organizing. I love my Leuchtturm 1917 dot journal! And my pens... I have found that the biggest advice I give myself is: It's okay to mess up! My pages don't look like pinterest pages... but they work - and they are fun!

  9. I have so many bullet journal pins on Pinterest, but am never sure where to start, do I need special paper? Pens? What if I mess up? Kudos to you for jumping in!
